FOCUS:  Strength

Beloved…

It wasn’t until we were crushed in the middle of despair

that we knew how sweet Your comfort was and how warm Your embrace.

It wasn’t until our hearts broke in agony

that we knew how strong we were in You.

We know that our tears burn You and our pain makes You cry,

For You wish us to be victorious

And Your victory is Love.

Through Love, You hold us tight and fill our hearts with joy.

Give us strength in the knowledge that with You we can move mountains.

Give us strength in the belief that Your Love is stronger than anything.
Give us strength in the knowledge that You are always with us,

Give us strength in the awareness that, although darkness seems overwhelming at the moment,

this storm won’t last forever.

Give us strength in the faith that Your Flame is eternal

For as long as Your Light shines, our eyes shall find the way and we cannot be lost.

Help us to see beyond this moment

into something deeper and more meaningful.

Let us draw inspiration and encouragement from Your Love

Turn our questions into prayers and let our anguished cries pierce the sky.
Let Your Love be like a warm blanket on a winter’s night,

Let Your presence be felt in the lives of all those who need You today

and give them strength by the very change Your Love can bring into their hearts.
