PRAYER FOR PEACE

Monday, June 13^th, 2011 9am P.T.

FOCUS:  Forgiveness

Forgive me, Divine One, for the blindness of my past…

For my insensitivity to the needs of others

For any prejudice and fear that prevented me from Loving

Forgive the narrowness of my vision and my selfishness

Forgive my resentment against those who hurt me... and You

Teach me instead, to forgive others for their anger and hatred

To forgive them for their judgment and for the evils they believe to be true

To forgive them for making light of the hurt they have inflicted

And for not making amends…

Teach me how to open a closed heart and alter a corrupt mind

Teach me to bear witness to You in an effective way

So that others will see Your Light

And seek You out…

Forgive my fear of coming out of the fortress of my own soul

Into sharing this fuller life and deeper Love with the world

I no longer withhold my Love.

If I ever do so, please forgive me.

Forgive what I have been

Direct what I am

And order what I shall be

For Your mercy’s sake…

Amen.
