Letting Go

PRAYER FOR PEACE:  Monday, February 25, 2013 9am P.T.

FOCUS:  Letting go

Beloved,

Thank You for bringing so many lessons and such adventure into my life.

Thank You for teaching me to be steadfast in pursuing my goals

And for helping me to believe in myself and my abilities.

I thank You now as You teach me to practice diligence with wisdom

And how to release those things that no longer serve to enlighten me.

Teach me how to recognize when it is time to let go,

That I may create and accept opportunities for new gifts to enter my life.

And even though unfamiliar territory may make me uncomfortable,

Help me to remember that You are ever beside me, 

Holding my hand...

Guiding my path...

For You always know the way.

You may have to push me.

You may have to help me see without distrust...

as a newborn sees.

The world is going to look different

But I am ready to envision it through Your eyes.

Let nothing hold me back from being all that You ask of me

May I abandon all reservations 

To become a pure and pleasing testament

To all that You are

From this day forward, and in Your name...

Amen.
