FOCUS:  Recognizing Miracles

Beloved One

Miracles surround so much that we often do not notice. 

The opening of a flower

The dawning of a new day

The singing of birds 

The lap of waves on a beach

A single white cloud drifting across the deep blue sky

The sound of rain drops falling on the parched earth

The laughter of children 

Friendship

Peace between enemies 

A helping hand 

The miracle of hearing

And of sight

And of touch

Of joy

Of beauty

Of compassion

Of healing 

And of Bliss

But most of all the miracle of Love…

And the miracle of knowing You. 

We thank You for being a miracle in our lives

And pray that we might remember the joy of that each day. 

Today, is a new day. 

And in it new miracles have begun. 

Open our hearts and minds to the miracles that surround us, 

and live within us,  

that we may know You, 

and be Your people.
