Beloved,

Teach me how to Love like You
How to see the world through a billion eyes
How to know the pain of a single being 
And its wound on the heart of the masses

How much I want to understand...
To be brave enough to witness
To have the wisdom of diversity in my mind
And the soul’s desire to accept it

Please continue to flow through me
In the uncensored, turbulent way that You do
Pure and reverent, profane and defiant
Oh Beloved, how I marvel at Your ubiquity.

Thank You for Your patience and compassion
As I learn under Your eye
Your pleasure is my Almighty
And the only hope of my heart.
