Beloved,

In an instant I am Yours
But haven’t I always been?...
Oh how little I know of Love
Even in this that I now know of You
How desire blinds 
And longing dost deceive the mind
Pursuing ordinary pleasures
In an inconceivable Paradise
I, the fool
Desperately seeking You
In the midst of our Love-making

How long have You been waiting here
While I wandered around in my own imaginings?
Searching for drops in this endless Ocean
Your Glory falling on me like rain
Lost in my insignificant ramblings
And childish insistence to already know You
Oh Humility, have we ever even met???
Your face is unfamiliar to me
And what of Surrender, my most intimate friend?
Do I know you still?
You seem transformed in this brand new place 
... where, you say, we have always been.
