FOCUS: I Return
Beloved,
He Who longs to know me
Who held me while I slept
Complicated dark-eyed Beauty
Whispering absurdities with sophistication
I remember now what I asked of You
And awaken to Your cadence
Overwhelmed
You are sublime
And lure me to madness.
Why do You refuse to take the throne
When it is my sole desire to serve You?
Every day I come to lay offerings at Your feet
Only to find Your altar already abundant
Overflowing with my own potential
And every possible Universal thought
What are You doing???
You know how much I want to repay You
But You will not acknowledge my debt
How am I to worship One who kneels before me?
One so Pure and undeserving of revile
Alongside such poverty of soul
That is I.
I Love You
Amen

Oh, how am I to worship one who kneels before me? Amen ... amen ... amen!
