Calamity

PRAYER FOR PEACE:  Feb 29, 2016, 9am P.T.

FOCUS: Calamity

I am not a whisper

I am the name of your God

Called aloud 
At the Armageddon

Thunder rolling over

And through your bones

Like a nuclear wave

Annihilating  you

Sweeping across your surface

Leaving it barren 

Lifeless

And still

I am not a broken heart

I am the tears wept 

At the grave of your lover

the Anguished One

That seeks relief

Burrowing holes in your soul

And your mind

The One who's conscience

Knows nothing of tragedy

But thirsts for a Returning

A surrendering 

That can only come 

From the agony

Of what is lost

I am not the answer

I am the unasked Question

That haunts you in the night

And consumes your thoughts 

That steals from you 

And leaves you lonely

I am the Threat

And the Monster

Your greatest fear

Your greatest loss

Look me in the eye

Let me shake you

For I am the weight of the world

Lift Me up

Carry Me

Do you care enough to bear Me?

Hold Me in your arms

Rush upon the blade

For we are exalted here

I am the Calamity

Let Me wound you

Fall in Love with bleeding

Let the depths of you discover Me

And so then shall I set you Free.
