FOCUS:  Innocence 

Beloved,
Return me to the beginning of You
To the place where everything was new 
Where there were no conclusions drawn
Nor assumptions made.
A place where there was nothing more upon which to focus
Except the complete unmerciful triumph of Your Love over me.

Take me to the place where naivety was a gift
Where nothing was expected
Or even possible in my stupor
Where all I knew was to follow You
Where no one was aware of us
And there was nothing but my wonderment
And our freshly discovered Togetherness.

How much I long for that place of innocence
The Purity
How everywhere You touched me was new
Virtuous
Immaculate
How You left me wide-eyed and bewildered
Yearning for more.

Oh Beloved
Release me from the confines of myself and others
Set me free in my desire to please only You
Let my surrender be renewed
By the Glory of Your Love
And the Eternity of my faith in You.
