Beloved,

We are already written...
This story of our Foreverness
Where I came to Know 
Of my unknowing
By Your undoing of me.
Where the end was the beginning
And the beginning, the end
Where I learned to breathe
And see
And live
And Your beauty took on form
Like molecules
And we were Everywhere.
Still... I ache for yesterday
As though it held Redemption
Or some promise of release
From the lunacy
That cradled me there
In it’s soft and hypothetical arms.
You were different then
But only in my mind
As I waded ankle deep
In piety
Memorizing Your scripture
And reciting it aloud
In unfamiliar language.
What else is this
But a Miracle
To have sang for a lifetime
In praise and devotion
Even so, unconsciously
To a God I did not recognize?
Oh how infinitely I adore You
And the way You permeate me
Outside the confines of time
Without reason or obligation
Again and again

Absolved

And by nothing more 
Than the sound of Your name....
I am Saved.
