Beloved,

Love is the Master of all

And I, it’s willful servant

It comes for me in the night

With it’s velvet voice

And longings

Whispering with hot breath

Against the nape of my intellect

Stirring my perceptions

Seducing me 

With it’s gorgeous mind

Telling me 

Of You

But I was gone long ago

My body already a shrine

Soulful altars in Your honor

Saturate me

Every thought, an offering

Every breath, a prayer

Your name swirling like incense

Through the chambers of my heart

I belong to You

Claimed 

Even against my egregious will

I am delivered

Wrapped up with You 

Inside Your holy shroud

Us

Together...

Engaged in the Bliss

Of one another’s Ecstasy

And the blur of our Love-making

Bound by this sacrament

And the promise of Forever
