Beloved,
Sing to me in the details
And I shall listen
For my ears yearn for lilt
In the vacancy where I linger
Seeking retreat
I wait for You
And wonder
Was our affair a dream?
Have I been returned?
My heart adrift
In a foreign landscape
Fragments of memories
Flicker through me
And I mourn for us
Rereading Love letters
Scented with Your perfume
Your voice playing inside me
I long for rest
And Your tenderness
And all our secret sacred things

ReplyDeleteBlessings from The Most High Siren.I stayed up all night watching a series, so I have not had time to think. I will not be ,thereore, writing anything outstanding, because I just don't have any thinking power right now. But, I can feel. I felt this prayer...and Im glad about it. There was nothing to get in my way, and so I say,,,AMEN.
